Animal Control

Animal Control services in the Township of Manitouwadge support responsible pet ownership, public safety, and the humane treatment of animals. All regulations and requirements are outlined in Animal Control Bylaw 2019‑17.

Dog & Cat Licensing

All dogs and cats in the Township must be licensed annually under Bylaw 2019‑17.

Licensing helps return lost pets quickly and supports local animal control services.

Note: if you pet is microchipped, you only pay the licence fee once at the time of ownership. Microchipped pets do not require annual renewal.
