People choose to live in Manitouwadge because of the connection they feel with the community – the residents, geography, community groups and organizations and employment are reasons why so many call Manitouwadge their home.

Making improvements to the community, both from a physical and social perspective, will help to ensure Manitouwadge remains a community where people choose to live. This includes projects that focus on revitalizing the downtown core, ensuring safe and active recreation opportunities, maintaining and improving the housing stock within the community, working with organizations to address social issues as well as supporting groups and volunteers that help make Manitouwadge a special place to live, work and play.
