NOTICE: Summer Landfill Hours & Spring Cleanup Week
Summer Landfill Hours Begin June 2 Please note that summer hours for the Manitouwadge Landfill will take effect on June 2:
• Tuesdays: 10:00am – 2:00pm • Thursdays: 10:00am – 2:00pm • Saturdays: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Spring Cleanup Week – June 6–8 The Township of Manitouwadge invites residents to participate in Spring Cleanup Week. Help keep our community clean, attractive, and welcoming!
Please place outdoor organic material (branches, leaves, dead grass, etc.) in neatly raked piles or yard waste bags at the roadside on June 6–7, no later than June 8 at 8:00am for pickup.
Each street will be collected once only.
Accepted materials include: • Bundled branches (max 3 ft) • Leaves • Dead grass • Other outdoor organic waste
Not accepted: Appliances, furniture, household waste, pet waste, hazardous waste.
Free Landfill Days for Non‑Hazardous Waste Tipping fees will be waived for non‑hazardous waste disposal on:
• June 9–12: 10:00am – 2:00pm • June 13: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Only permitted items placed at the roadside will be collected by Public Works. All other materials must be disposed of by the homeowner.

Hazardous Waste Collection Household Hazardous Waste Collection will not take place during Spring Cleanup. Please store hazardous materials safely until Saturday, September 19, 2026.
