A reminder that Spring Cleanup Week is happening from June 10-14. Have you been spending time in the warm weather working on beautifying your yard? Now is the time to get rid of the organic material left behind!
Some important things to note:
Organic yard material (branches, dead grass, leaves etc.) placed in neatly raked, swept piles, or bags will be picked up
Appliances, furniture, household and pet waste, and hazardous waste are not included in this initiative
The landfill will be open (with tipping fees waived) from Tuesday, June 11 – Friday, June 14 from 10:00-2:00pm and Saturday, June 15 from 9:00-3:30pm for your convenience
Each street will only be completed once. Please ensure your organic material is placed by the roadside no later than June 10 at 8:00am
Only permitted items placed at the roadside for the Spring Cleanup will be collected by Public Works. Anything not permitted will be the sole responsibility of the homeowner to properly dispose of. If you are unsure sure what should be included in this event, please contact Public Works at (807) 826-3227 ext. 230.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection will not be held in conjunction with our Spring Cleanup. Please save your hazardous waste materials safely until Saturday, September 21, 2024.
