       Permanent Full-Time Social Worker

Manitouwadge Family Health Team is now accepting applications for a Permanent Full-Time Social Worker.

Qualifications:

· Registered Social Worker with Bachelor of Social Work degree from an accredited University and counselling education or,

· Registered Social Services Worker with counselling education or;

· Applicant with equivalent education in counselling and patient navigation, who is eligible for registration membership with a recognized College

·Bilingualism is an asset.

· Knowledge of Meditech an asset

· Computer and Keyboarding skills an asset.

Skills/Abilities/Knowledge and Experience:

· Experience in a community based or clinical health service organization

·  Excellent clinical skills and experience with assessment, treatment and management of mental health problems commonly seen in primary care

·  Experience facilitating group programs

·  Case management/system navigation skills and a willingness to research community resources

·  Ability to function effectively and efficiently both independently an as a member of the team

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent time-management and organizational skills

· Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) an asset
