Halloween Haunted Walk

Halloween Haunted Walk (October 30, 2021)

Dates:  Saturday, October 30, 2021

Time for Ages 6 – 11:  5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  (Sunlight version)

Time for Ages 12 +:  7:30 pm – 9:00 pm  (Sundown Version)

Location:  The old barn on Ski Hill Road

Cost: No Entry Fee! We are collecting Non-perishable food items/donations for the Food Bank.

Non-Profit/Sport Groups – Application now open for Reduced or Waived Fees and/or In-Kind Services – September 23, 2021

The Township of Manitouwadge, in order to be more effective in establishing user fee rates and services for non-profit organizations and sport groups, has established an annual information collection process.

The 2022 Non-Profit/Sport Group Application Form is designed to act as a catalyst for the Township to work more closely with all non-profit organizations and sport groups and in turn to ensure that appropriate assistance levels are in place for all.

Please Note: Only those Organizations and groups who submit a completed application form no later than December 1, 2021 at noon will be eligible for consideration for any of the above 2022 fees, rental agreements and services.

Manitouwadge 2nd Annual Fall Market

The Community Services Department is excited to announce the return of our Fall Market on Saturday, September 25 from 12-4pm. We are looking for artisans, makers, crafters, non-profit fundraisers, home-based and local businesses to participate as vendors! Help us make this event another success. The Community Services Department is pleased to present Common Registration Night on Tuesday, Sept 14 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Community Center Auditorium.

All groups and organizations are welcome! Come learn about and/or register for various programs offered in our Community.

Are you a baker, a gardener, artisan or maker? We would love for you to join our bi-weekly Outdoor Market! There is no obligation to sign up for every market. Pick the date that works for you!

ParticipACTION – Community Better Challenge – June 2021

This June, Manitouwadge will be participating in the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge, the physical activity challenge that rallies communities to get moving. From June 1 – 30, let’s get active to support Manitouwadge’s quest to be Canada’s Most Active Community and win $100,000 for local physical activity initiatives.
We see you walking, biking, running, skateboarding, paddleboarding… you already have the movement part down – why not download the app for a chance to win some great prizes? Make a team with you co-workers, friends and family!

Adopt-a-Flower Bed Program

Update: The flowerbeds by the church triangle have been adopted. All others are still available.
Introducing the Adopt-a-Flowerbed program!
Do you have a green thumb and love to garden? The Township of Manitouwadge is looking for local businesses, volunteer groups or individuals to help us beautify our town by ‘adopting’ a flowerbed. Your adoption will be recognized with a plaque featuring your group name!
