THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MANITOUWADGE

PUBLIC NOTICE

WATER MAIN SWABBING PROGRAM

The Township of Manitouwadge, Public Works Department, will be swabbing the water mains in certain sections of the community effective Monday, September 30th, Tuesday, October 1st, Wednesday, October 2nd, Thursday, October 3rd, and Friday, October 4th from the hours of 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

A Notice of Water Disruption will be delivered door to door to all affected households and businesses.

Residents are cautioned not to use their water during the times mentioned.  It would make sense to stock up on drinking water; also fill your laundry tubs with water to provide you with water to flush your toilets.  Remember to remove your aerator from your faucet.

If you are receiving discolored water after the swabbing program has been completed by 6:00 AM, run your cold water tap until it clears up.  This may affect residents that are not included in the swabbing program.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Randy Barnes

Public Works Superintendent
