NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have smart serve
- 2 yrs minimum of food/beverage industry experience required
- Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning, cooking/prep, purchasing, inventory management, scheduling, ordering.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budget
- Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
- Leadership skills, organizational skills and strong communication abilities necessary
STARTING: May 2023 (TBD)
SALARY: $20.00/hourly
EMPLOYMENT TERM: May 2023-October 2023 with possibility of extension (temporary full-time), 40hrs/wk
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to Community Programmer
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Manage/oversee entire restaurant operation
- Cooking/food prep in compliance with health, safety and hygiene requirements
- Plan new and update existing menus
- Handle/Balance cash and manage receipting
- Provide direction to staff
- Create and manage scheduling for staff
- Manage inventory, make food/beverage orders, work directly with vendors, ensure compliance with the AGCO
- Evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs/maintenance, schedule service when needed
- Control operational costs and identify measures to create efficiencies
