Municipal Law Enforcement works on a complaint basis. When a complaint is received it is thoroughly investigated and the appropriate action will be taken to resolve the issue. Some of the most common complaints received are property standards, such as junk and debris or old, derelict vehicles, storage of recreational leisure vehicles, water use restrictions, smoking on Town property, zoning (land use), noise infractions and parking issues. We also deal with “at large” dogs, sign permits and many more.

This enables road safety, traffic flow, and accessibility and assists the Township of Manitouwadge in taking care of street cleaning, garbage removal and snow clearing on the public roads and sidewalks.
